This is Grand Prize & First Place award-winning recipe where I paid homage to my mother’s love for caramel apples. The combination of miso and warm spices enhance the apples. I used Honeycrisp apples but would also recommend Granny Smith and Pink Lady varieties as they are great baking apples. I do not recommend using softer apples.
